Insurgent by Veronica Roth gets a cover!

I was recently looking about on Goodreads and saw that Insurgent by Veronica Roth got a cover! I loved Divergent and can't wait to read what happens next. So I was very excited when I saw this and had to share it with you guys! So without further ado, here ya go!

One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

I think this cover goes beautifully with the first in the series! I hope they don't have a mid-series cover change, because so far I'm liking what I see. And what do you guys think of the summary? If you've read Divergent then you understand what's going on.

Make sure to put this one on your reading list!

Cover Reveal: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

The absolutely amazing Cassandra Clare now has a cover for the next book in the Infernal Devices series, Clockwork Prince. Let's take a look see, shall we?

In Clockwork Prince, with Mortmain vanished and the clock counting down on how long Charlotte can keep control of the Institute away from Benedict Lightwood, Will, Jem and Tessa must dig into Mortmain’s past to predict what he will do in the future, But secrets about Mortmain aren’t all they find buried — Tessa begins to uncover the truth about her own birth, and the ghosts of Will’s past return to haunt him. As Tessa grows closer to Jem, and Will is driven further toward the brink of madness by jealousy and guilt, will they discover the truth in time to halt the next phase of Mortmain’s evil plan?

I love that we get to see a face (I assume it's Jem?)! In Clockwork Angel we didn't get a straight on face. I also like that it kept the same concept as the first book: The character is the main focus, not the background, and that the marks have light coming out of them.

This book already sounds amazing, and now that it has a cover it is that much more worthy of my obsessiveness.

Cover Reveal: Hourglass by Myra McEntire

Yesterday the cover to Myra McEntire's debut YA novel was revealed. And my was it a pretty one. Go ahead...take a gander.

Summary:

"Since the age of fourteen, Emerson Cole has seen strange things – dead things – swooning Southern Belles, soldiers, and other eerie apparitions of the past. She’s tried everything to get rid of the visions: medication, counseling, asylums. Nothing’s worked.

So when Emerson's well-meaning brother calls in yet another consultant from a mysterious organization called the Hourglass, Emerson’s willing to give it one last try.

Michael Weaver is no ordinary consultant. He's barely older than she is; he listens like no one she's ever met before; and he doesn't make her feel the least bit crazy. As Emerson ventures deeper into the world of the Hourglass, she begins to learn the truth about her past, her future--and her very life.

A seductive time-slip novel that merges the very best of the paranormal and science fiction genres, Myra McEntire’s Hourglass is a stunning debut from an author to watch."

Now we all know that it sounds amazing. So let's talk about the cover.

I will admit that it took me a second to see that she's actually standing on the wall and she's facing the floor. That alone would make me pick up this book. The model's position is great and although the colors are subdued they still stand out. I think it's safe to say that this cover is gorgeous and, if anything, has made me want this book even more.
